On 4 June 2018, a meeting of the Foundation Council and the Cluster Council was held at the Lublin Town Hall, during which the actions taken so far were summarised and a plan for the subsequent six months was presented.
At the meeting held on 25 May 2018, the Management Board of the “Automotive and Machinery Upland” Cluster adopted a resolution on the creation of three task forces: urban mobility, automotive and agricultural machinery.
Lublin, Radom and Starachowice are starting to cooperate in the area of the automotive and machinery industry – it is a return to strong economic traditions in the communes acting as signatories of the Letter of Intent.
On 1 February 2018, the meeting of the Council of the Lublin Automotive and Machine Upland Foundation was held in the Town Hall. During the meeting, the regulations for the Foundations’ Council and Management Board were discussed, together with the draft budget and partnership agreement projects within the Cluster ” Automotive and Machine Upland”.
We are pleased to announce that on 9 January 2018 the Lublin Automotive and Machine Upland Foundation with its registered office in Lublin was entered into the Register of Associations of the National Court Register under the KRS number 0000711043, and thus officially started its activity!
On 9 November 2017, the founding meeting of the Lublin Automotive and Machine Upland Foundation was held in the Town Hall. The founders are 18 entities, including three higher education institutions and 12 enterprises operating in Lublin and the Lublin Voivodship within the automotive, machine and metal industries.
The City of Lublin, URSUS S.A. and TUM International GmbH (a company representing the Technical University of Munich) are beginning their work on establishing the Smart Industry Centre in Lublin. In Bavaria, the parties signed a cooperation agreement on the implementation of the project preparation phase.
